Choose Clean Water Tour
Over Jan & Feb of 2016, the Choose Clean Water team made 24 videos in 28 days capturing the stories of ordinary people struggling with polluted water and fearful for the future of their waterways.
The team went as far south as Waiau River in Southland and as far north as Waitangi. No region was untouched by the freshwater crisis.

Petition
In March 2016, Choose Clean Water with amazing support particularly from Te Kura Kaupapa Māori o Whakarewa i te Reo ki Tuwharetoa, handed in a 13,000-signature petition to parliament calling for a swimmable bottom line in freshwater policy and for the policy to prioritise the health of people, wildlife and the environment.

Freshwater Rescue Plan
In 2017, Choose Clean Water helped launch the Freshwater Rescue Plan alongside environmental, recreation, public health, social justice and business organisations.
